Not too much news abound on any of Patrick's projects, but I found a photo I haven't seen before, so I thought I'd share :D

On the Greenhornes Myspace there is a picture tagged 'winter 2007 - album rehersals'.
I'm guessing the boys are gonna be back in full force, huh? :D Bring it on!

I feel like I should know this, but . . . [Jan. 6th, 2007|11:36 pm]

SO, I just finished watching The Raconteurs at Austin City Limits!
(This is probably the first time since I was little watching Seasame Street that I watched anything on PBS or, for that matter, that PBS had anything worth watching, but ANYWAY)
at the end it says who the band members are and what they play and for Patrick it said: Partick Keeler - Drums, Batterie
I feel silly for asking this but what is a Batterie?

Patrick Keeler

During a trip over this long weekend to a beloved lodge in the White Mountains in New Hampshire that I have been visiting since I was two years old, I met someone who works there who looked just like the love child of Patrick and Brad Holland, drummer of Whirlwind Heat. It was great.

VMAs [Sep. 1st, 2006|12:14 am]

[Current Mood |sleepysleepy]

Who else saw the VMAs?
The few parts on tv where they actually showed The Raconteurs playing brought me once again to completely admire Patrick's drumming skills. He is definitely my inspiration to play; when I finally learn to play the drums, he will often be on my mind.
Its late, so that was not entirely coherent, but I think you get my gist.
Basically, Patrick is a superb drummer and if I ever get the chance to play (as I hope to) I hope to be able to emulate his mastery and passion for what he does . . . was that better? I can't tell anymore.
I'm going to bed, I'll delete this post in the morning if I read it and it seems nonsensical. Lemme know if this makes sense and/or if you agree, or if you're like "what the hell?" haha. ok I'm done here, goodnight everyone!

Patrick quoted in Rolling Stone! [Aug. 16th, 2006|08:18 pm]

In Rolling Stone, they've got a little feature about The Raconteurs' awesome new video for Hands and it talks about how the girls in the video are actually deaf girls and the video was shot during a tour stop in Norway. In the article bit, Patrick is quoted!

"'The girls were really into the idea of teaching us sign language,' says drummer Patrick Keeler. 'It was like The Sound of Music to be in the mountains surrounded by a bunch of little blonde girls running around doing gymnastics. What a great way to spend a day.'"

little blonde girls running around doing gymnastics?
I know they were doing that in the video but it sounds funny when you actually say it. . . well, maybe thats just me

I decided I'd make the first the first picture post in this wonderul community!

It's definitely not easy to find pictures of Patrick, but I must say, after seeing him live, I've come to appreciate his amazing skills/good looks. :)

There aren't enough Patrick pictures out there, but these ones are all AMAZING.

Ok, here we go!

This is the FIRST EVER community for Patrick Keeler and I am happy to welcome you. Considering I'm the only person in the community at this point . . . there doesn't seem to be any point, nonetheless!
but I digress,
All fans of the Greenhornes and the Raconteurs should join this wonderful community, because although there isn't too much new and exciting information out there for dear Patrick, it is ever-important not to under-appreciate him, because he is a fantastic drummer.

The rules are simple: Be nice! and Post anything that you think has to do with Patrick and any of the things he's involved in!
